In a big relief to lakhs temporary employee who have been hired by government departments and agencies across the country on contractual basis, the Supreme Court on Wednesday held that they are entitled to wages at par with permanent employees and principle of 'equal pay for equal work' must be followed.
A bench of Justices JS Khehar and SA Bobde said the principle of 'equal pay for equal work' constitutes a clear and unambiguous right vested in every employee whether engaged on regular or temporary basis.
"Any act, of paying less wages, as compared to others similarly situate, constitutes an act of exploitative enslavement, emerging out of a domineering position. Undoubtedly, the action is oppressive, suppressive and coercive, as it compels involuntary subjugation," he said.
Last 2 Assembly session some MLA’s and MP’s are requested to the Hon’ble Minister and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana for Regularization of all contract & outsourcing employees.
In response to this, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana was given assurance to all contract & outsourcing employees, and said that he will regularize all employees.
Till today it not happen and all contract & outsourcing employees are still facing a lot of problems in their daily life, due to very less salary, no job security, no increment and no promotion, even our junior govt. employees are getting promotion.
Recently Telangana President and other NGO’s are conducted a meeting about all contract & outsourcing employees’ regularization and given a representation to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana.
But, unfortunately, it is not happen.
Sir, we are requested to Govt. of Telangana/ Hon’ble Minister and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana to regularize all contract & outsourcing employees.

Sir, 7o years back East India Company (English Man) left from India but unfortunately the poor Govt. Contract and Outsourcing employees are still like poor labour or watchmen, even Govt. Watchmen are getting big salary, but the Govt. Contract and Outsourcing employees are still facing a problems, due to very less salary.

So many festivals are coming and going and Telangana formation day also came but the Govt. Telangana has not release any order for regularization.
Sir, Day by Day market rates are too much high, Hospital rates are very high and because of very less salaries how we educate our family.
Last four years Govt. is announcing just for regularization but no implement.
Two year back Supreme Court is given instruction for equal pay to all contract outsourcing and daily wages employees (Equal pay for equal work) but unfortunately this is also no implement.
All the Govt. Contract and Outsourcing employees have no job security, no increment, no promotion and no other benefit.

ReplyDeleteనమస్తే సర్, తెలంగాణ వస్తే అవుట్ సోర్సింగ్ ఎంప్లాయిస్ జీవితాలు బాగుపడతాయని రెగ్యులర్ చేస్తారని నమ్మకం తో వున్నాము కాని ఎవరి పదవులు వారు కాపాడుకోవటం సరిపోతుంది కాని మా జీవితాల గురించి ఆలోచన లేదు. మా కడుపు మంట ఎవరికి తెలుస్తుంది. ఎన్నో ఏళ్ళు గా చాలీ చాలని జీతాలతో మా ఇంటిని పోసిస్తున్నాము. రెగ్యులర్ వాలకు మాత్రం అన్ని కావాలి జీతాలు పెంచాలి ఆన్ని రకాలుగా వాలకు ప్రభుత్వమూ సపోర్ట్ చేస్తుంది మరి అవుట్ సోర్సింగ్ ఉద్యోగస్తులం అంటే అంత చులకన దేనికి?? మా గురించి ప్రభుత్వానికి ఎందుకు పట్టింపు లేదు రెగ్యులర్ వాళ్ళ కంటే కుడా ఎక్కువ పని చేసేది మేమే. ప్రతి డిపార్టుమెంటు లో మేము వున్నాము. మరి ప్రభుత్వం మమ్మల్ని ఎందుకు పట్టించుకోవటం లేదు. మేము చచ్చిన మాకు ఎలాంటి ప్రత్యంమ్యాయం లేదు మా కుటుంబానికి రక్షణ లేదు మాకు ఉద్యోగ భద్రత లేదు.
ReplyDeleteLast 4 years the Chief Minister of Telangana is only announcing and Assembly session is coming and going but he is not doing anything for the sake of Telangana Contract Outsourcing employees and not helping the poor Contract Outsourcing employees, we don’t know why Contract Outsourcing employees are not a human being.
ReplyDeleteContract Outsourcing employees are working from last so many and they are expected that one day all Contract Outsourcing employees become Regular employees but unfortunately it’s not happen till today.
Sir, every day market rates are too much increase and Hospital charges are day by day very high and how we educate our children how we purchase anything due to very less salaries.
All Govt. Contract outsourcing employees have first no job security, no increment, no other benefit and no promotion, even our junior Govt. employees are getting promotion, so how we will survive.
Sir, Regular Govt. employees continuously getting increment, PRC, Promotion and other benefit.
All Contract Outsourcing employees are requested the Govt. of Telangana to help the Contract Outsourcing employees are try to regularize their services.
